Why companies are not prefering entry level software developers?

In the world of software development, software testing plays a major role in the development of high quality software. But too often the software development companies may not be able to afford too much Software testing/quality assurance expenses especially economic crisis times like this. We can avoid big testing expenses if the developer himself unit test it and taken care about each and every if/else statements. Sadly this is one of the big drawbacks of entry level programmers. Normally they will check for the if conditions and the else part they will normally left out. Even if senior programmers give advise regarding the best programming practices, they will simply discard it (because of their ego) and try to learn only from their own experience. This makes a 5 minute task stretch 5 hours which will end up in wastage of organizations valuable resources.

Hope entry level programmers will not do this same mistake again and again..
